to the processing or it is necessary for us to perform our contract with you or to comply with our legal obligations).

We may provide your personal data to our suppliers and service providers, including other companies in our group, who

provide certain business services for us and act as "processors" of your personal data on our behalf. In addition, we may

disclose your personal data if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal

obligation, or in order to protect the rights, property, or safety, of our business, our customers or others. This includes, in

specific cases, exchanging information with other organisations for the purposes of fraud protection.

In some cases, the personal data we collect from you may, for the purposes set out above, be transferred outside the

European Economic Area (EEA) and such destinations may not have laws which protect your personal data to the same

extent as in the EEA. We are required by data protection law to ensure that where we or our "processors" transfer your

personal data outside of the EEA, it is treated securely and is protected against unauthorised access, loss or destruction,

unlawful processing and any processing which is inconsistent with the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

Otherwise, we securely erase your personal data from our systems when it is no longer needed.

the privacy practices of such third party websites and your use of such websites is at your own risk.

This Privacy Policy was last updated on 1 May 2018.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, so you may want to check it each time you provide personal data to

Product Guarantee:

American Motor Factors only supplies products that are from reputable manufacturers or suppliers.

We do not have jurisdiction over where the products are manufactured; this is out of our control.

 

Unfortunately, things do go wrong and should you have purchased an item from us that has failed the following manufacturers guarantees apply. Please see below.

 

New Parts: Standard replacement parts (not for modification or enhancement)

 

External Mechanical components. 12 months from date of purchase.**

 

Internal engine components 12 months, subject to correct installation as per manufacturer’s instructions.

 

Alternators and Starter Motors 12 months (subject to proof of correct installation)

 

Other Electronic or electrical components 3 months unless otherwise stated. *

 

Bulbs (not LED) none.

 

Fuses none

 

Wiring looms 3 months (subject to correct installation)**

 

Rubber and interior and exterior trim products, faulty manufacture only 12 months(example is correct but does not fit or damaged on opening package, incorrect colour)

 

Air conditioning components 12 months which are subject to correct procedure of installation and all items purchased should be installed by a professional air conditioning installer/repairer.***

 

Glass, manufacturers defect only and damage in transit, must be signed for damaged.

 

Body panels and under floor structure components manufacturers defect only. **** (+ damage in transit) must be signed for damaged.

 

All other components 12 months unless otherwise stated.

 

Used Parts: We do not offer used parts.

 

Performance Products

As per manufacturer’s warranty. Performance parts are not covered when used for racing of any kind.

 

*. Electronic components are only covered if the fault was rectified by replacing the part with the one purchased. As another fault in the system, could degrade or affect the component purchased, and may lead to the new part failing, which is out of our control.

 

**. When used to replace a like for like standard manufacturers part as intended for the vehicle application.

 

***. Due to the delicate nature of air conditioning components the original fault or faults may lead to debris ingress into the system which must be cleaned correctly and where stated additional components may be required to meet the manufacturers guarantee.

 

****. Correct part that will not fit under any circumstances. Ideally body panels and parts should be fitted by a professional, although bolt on items are accepted. Unless otherwise stated all body panels and components are not OEM manufacture and may require slight modification to fit.
